Identity is shaped not only by how we define ourselves, but also by how others perceive us. No matter how we believe we see our own personality, it remains difficult to know exactly how people recognize us. Gender, sexual orientation, profession, ethnicity, or even the fashion we wear are just a few of the markers used to identify us as individuals. In a society where identities are often misjudged and misplaced by stereotypes, this series explores both my own identity and those of others. By taking on the role of a professional makeup artist, I transform internationally recognized soccer players, actors, and models into women, questioning the boundaries and misperceptions of identity.
